Yes, part of the reason we will never show in obedience. She knows the stuff, was positively trained throughout, but when I ask her to do something (in the case with the cookies, leave it), her ears go flat, LOL. Fortunately when she shows she is total opposite, once she hears lets go she pulls into the lead and goes out in front like a superstar, earthdog she adores which is more important to me (just wishing I could find a place to start her again here)... obedience just isn't her thang, she doesn't like to be told to behave - If one of the cookies were to have dropped off she would have pranced around calling herself a rebel.
