I've heard all kinds of things, pit, shepherd, sharpei....her face is actually a little wider than this picture shows. What do you think. She's a whole lot of cuteness, but I'm a little stumped.

My first guess from her coloring and her muzzle was Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix! But it's a bad angle and I am never that good with guessing :D

Does her fur feel like a normal short haired dog's or is it "different"? Just asking because you mentioned Shar-pei, I personally don't see Pei but I know one dog that was at our rescue that by looking at him he looked all lab. If you touched him you screamed Shar-Pei because of his fur and extra skin (although that could have been hound too, his fur was trademark Pei though).

I'd Pittie because he has that look to him and because they are so common, but ridge back could be there too, i have seen a few around so I guess they are not that rare.

OHH... she's cute! She reminds me a lot of our old foster Casanova... he was a pit/shepherd mix.

More pics! :)

Hhhm, maybe she does. I'm in the Dallas area so no telling what she has in her. What's more common an Amstaff or APBT generally?

He is so cute! That could have been her litter mate. Do you know what he looks like now? He looks like a pistol. Was he mischievous?

I would say definitlet some staffy if she was here, I swear any dog that isn't an ACD or a kelpie is a staffy just about.

Ooooh... yeah, he was a pistol. And when he was being bad he'd pull those worry wrinkles paired with the tilted head out. Geez. But he was a very smart and good boy, so the puppy from hell turned into a decent dog.

This was him (on the left, lol!) when he was about 10 months old.
