The Kitty-Boy Brothers

Nolu reminded me today that Whitacre and Ticheli have not had any new photos taken/posted in a long while. Poor neglected kitties.

Of course, though, they were not feeling particularly cooperative today. The photos are still good, but on the mediocre side of good. Still, they needed their pictures taken, and I promised it would get done!

Let's start with Whitacre.

And then a certain puppy dog was worried that he wasn't getting enough attention, and decided to lie down in between the camera and the kitties.

They are usually a little more fun to take pictures of and I don't get the "do you have to do that" look as often as I did today. It has been kind of hot today so I think they just weren't all that interested in being posed. They were nice enough to put up with my camera, but they weren't going to pretend to enjoy it. Hopefully we will have a better chance for photos in the next couple of days!

Every time I look at those two, my brain starts screaming "BENGAL MIXES! BENGAL MIXES!" I just can't help it, lol.

Thank you! It really is hard to resist that squishy orange kitty belly. Good thing he doesn't mind getting squished and tickled!

We had the same reaction when we first brought them home from the shelter. And whether or not it is really accurate, we tell people that they are Bengal mixes all the time. We really lucked out finding these boys.

Beautiful boys!! Their eyes are gorgeous!

They do have really neat eyes. I like Whitty's "mascara", and Ticheli has two-tone colored irises. Both are very pretty.
