I feel like I'm corrupting a lot of people. :lol-sign:
You ARE.

Oh, and maybe someday I'll want a real Springer Spaniel. I have a feeling I'd like one, considering how much I love Middie. But my next dog, a Greyhound, wont be until Middie is at least middle-aged, if not an old fart. I'm hoping I'll get to room with someone who has a dog before then so he'll have a playmate.

papillon
PWC
and... a boston terrier!

I love spinoni and bernese mountain dogs, so I'd love to get one of each of those breeds at some point, but also certainly rescue mixes! :)

More Dalmatians (someday though by gosh one will be a liver)

I do like the dobies, bostons, and some of the sighthounds. Not sure if I will or would ever own one though.

I will have a dal in my house for the rest of my life.

From my eighteenth birthday and from there on, I'd like to own pit bulls my whole life.

And rescue dogs. A retired Grey, too. That's basically it...

The list of breeds i would NOT own is soooo much longer then the list i would own (or consider owning). Pretty much the order is...

Doberman
Argentine Dogo
Belgian (not sure which kind)

Beyond that there are some maybes thrown in.

Irish Wolfhound
Saluki
Vizsla
Border Terrier
Pointer

I will always have a poodle of some size in my life!

Oh, I forgot earlier... but I often think about a Vizsla. They're a definite maybe, but I need to spend some more time with them to see what they're really like. I've only met a handful.

Greyhounds (more of 'em)
Alapahas (more of 'em)
Belgian Malinois (in my line of work it's inevitable)

And the maybe someday if I can fit them in amongst the three already listed list, provided I can find breeders that don't suck:
Great Dane
Bullmastiff
Dogo Argentino
Boerboel
Chihuahua
MinPin

I will always have a lab/lab mix or two. I've already got my next four dogs planned out, lol.

In this order:

Some type of small breed for when I move into an apartment, anywhere over 2 years old.
Probably a rat terrier or a mix of.

Next will be my puppy. Either a shepherd or a lab mix from the humane society.

Then comes my agility dog. I'm thinking either a border or an aussie, haven't decided. A 1-2 year old adult.

Last will be a large, adult dog, probably older, at least 4 years. This will be anything that catches my eye and fits my household.

More danes
A fila or two

Those are the only two breeds that I realistically see happening in my future, and have been for some time.

Every once in the while, I fancy the thought of owning a coated breed, but that passes quickly. The coated breeds I adore are:

Briards
Newfies
Leos

Perhaps one day when I find myself with the desire to do lots of maintenance on a furry coat, and lots more cleaning of fur around my house, I'll succumb to those wants, but in the near future? No. Hannah's fur plus the cats are plenty enough to keep me busy picking up little tumbleweeds of fur everywhere.

If I were to ever have livestock that needed a guardian, that would open up a whole 'nother set of dogs that I adore. (anatolians and ovcharkas have always been favorites of mine too but I wouldn't own one without having a job for them to do.)

Oh so many

I've been trying to work out for about a year now what dog I want next, I want a BC soonish (probably before I get right into Kelpies as the DA thing, I'm still not ready for right yet) but the BC will either be rescue or working lines (after a few fosters so I know the breed more) and I also want to show, particularily GSP's.

It only occurred to me a couple of days ago that an Aus Shepherd might be an okay compromise, I don't mind the show lines and it would be a good introduction to a higher energy breed. So we'll see how things work out when I'm actually ready for another dog.

So my "one day" list is... in no particular order.

Kelpies (lots of them, they are "my" breed, just probably not my next dog because I want to avoid DA so I can get into agility with minimal fuss)
Border Collies
Koolies
Bullmastiff
Pug
Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (there are none int he country but I still have them on my list)
Australian Shepherd
Pug
AmStaff
Great Dane
German Shorthaired Pointer
Greyhounds (rescues)

I would oneday love a fila but BSL looks like its keeping them at bay :(

I love newfie's and will never live w/out them. They are alot of work and that keeps me from adding another giant breed...But, I would love to have..
Irish Wolfhound
Scottish Deerhound
Great Dane
Great Pyr.

Also love the Bernese Mountain Dog's, but their health issue's w/alot of cancer keep me from getting one.

Small dogs...I just adore the bichon's personality and would probably stick w/that.

Currently I want an azawakh, but chances are by the time I'm actually in gear to get another dog I'll have changed my mind completely.
