Just got a cookie sheet of these out of the oven and cooled them enough for a test drive. They are a HIT, lol!

Bimmer's Bark Bites

Measures are approximate

Heat oven to 400 degrees F

Spray mixing bowl with non-stick spray

In mixing bowl combine:
1 1/2 cups peanut butter (I used crunchy - what I had)
3 large eggs
1/2 cup molasses
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
2 teaspoons baking powder

Mix at medium speed until well blended

Roll into small balls. I made mine about the same circumference as a nickel. At that size, they bake for about 12 minutes.

Takes me back about 70 years !!! Our Irish setter had an upset tummy and my Mom toasted bread for him in the oven . I loved it and called it " Tony bread " . To this day when not feeling well , I think of my Tony bread and buy melba toast. Pre sliced bread is too thick today to do it .
