Happy bday Orson. How much you've grown from a cutie to a very handsome boy...what was wrong with him as a puppy may I ask? Very bloated I see :(

He was very bloated with WORMS.......it took a couple vet treatments to get rid of them all. He was malnourished and super tiny for his age as well :( In the first picture he was 11 weeks and 5 days (3 months) old and only 11lbs........ANY of the dobe people here will tell you how tiny that is, he should have been closer to the 30lb mark.

The person who bred him (I refuse to say breeder) was a big JERK who made his money on Orson's brothers and sisters and had decided to just let Orson die rather than waste money at the vet.........it makes me SICK to think about it.

I am so glad we found each other, he is my joy :)

Looks like you guys are a perfect match and I don't see how he could be more happier. :)

Ohh, i didn't know Orson was a sick puppy...that first pic is AWFUL. You can tell he's got worms just by looking at him and his little eyes look so sad.

He grew up so handsome and happy. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ORSON!

Orson! Happy birthday, handsome. :) Can't believe your mommy forgot about you. Hmmph. (Well, don't feel too bad, the kittens' birthday was yesterday and I forgot theirs, too, until I had already left the house. Still haven't celebrated yet, but I'm going to do something special for them.)

Today was a busy day so the special cake will have to wait, LOL

He is a happy camper though, he got to go caching and come home and nap uninterrupted with Dad for 1/2 an hour or so! LOL
