But the pic is a little gross, lol. Looks like a diseased chicken carcass

It's a pear core. Kharma and I had a very good organic pear today. I bite off pieces and give them to her. She loves fruit, and I guess me biting it off and then giving it to her takes her back to being a puppy.

When I got to the end of the pear, I held the core for her, but she was struggling to work on the core without getting my fingers, so, I figured, "what the heck - one pear core's worth of seeds can't hurt her," and let her have the core.

She laid down at my feet quite happily with it, closed her eyes, and happily proceeded to go to work. I couldn't see what she was doing exactly, because it was all undercover of the jowls. After a few minutes she spit something out.

This is all that was left:

All gone except for the woody stem, inner core WITH SEEDS INTACT, and the bloom scar on the bottom.

Freaking amazing, especially if you'd ever seen, up close, just what kind of cutlery she's got in there.

****, Renee, she's talented. I can't do that!

Now.. WHY are you taking pictures of a pear when you can take ones of Kharma?

Sheesh, Kharma! Watch out, or people might start thinking you're a delicate flower!

As Bimmer's #1 fan, I demand more pics even if he's not holding still. ;)

Oh, she is, lol. Totally. All Grrrly grrrrl.

I was trying to upload some last night without much success. Will this do for a few? :D I really, REALLY don't like this camera . . . a point and shoot just doesn't cut it at all. And I cannot FIND my 35mm camera somehow . . . the whole camera bag has vanished.

That'll do. Try ones from more of a distance in better lighting, though.

By vanished, I would assume stolen. Expensive cameras do not just disappear, trust me.

I had a dog that loved pears, stole them from the neighbor's tree. Mom told me fruit wasnt' good for dogs but i never knew if she was right or not. Didn't seem to hurt him any.

Oh, it could easily be hiding in my house right now, which is in a terrible shambles and state of flux . . . I'm not so concerned about the camera body - it's a 35mm and I can replace it for very little . . . it's the lenses that were in the bag  Three of my favorites were in there.

Besides, what are the chances of anyone being brave enough to even approach my house? :D One never knows which or how many dogs are there waiting . . .

But I really do love my old 35mm.

Getting Bimmer in better lighting is tricky. He really doesn't like to cooperate . . . I was trying to get a shot of the whipped cream he has splattered on his face :D

Fruit is fine for dogs, Smkie . . . just some of the seeds and pits are toxic. That's what impressed me so much about Kharma only eating the *good* parts. Like she knows. Filas like Kharma (working) are a breed that hasn't been tampered with much for a long, long time and they seem to have developed and retained some almost eerie traits and instincts that have been lost in most.
