That is, sadly, the exact image they're giving themselves. I shudder when I hear someone is a "positive trainer" for that very reason. Now, I KNOW the people here on Chaz, so that's an exception. But elsewhere...yeah, crazy people.

I have been a member for a long time, but I only occasionally read. When I'm in the mood for a train wreck, or if another of my friends makes a comment somewhere about a particularly heinous thread.

I have no love for CM, but a lot of the people on that group are doing absolutely nothing to benefit their rabidly-held beliefs.

Exactly. It's the same feeling I get when I hear "balanced"

I don't think 'positive' or 'balanced' is wrong, I just find the people that scream them and "defend" them the loudest tend to be some of the cruelest people.

And OwndedByBCs I hope you don't feel that way so much on Chaz! It's mellowed so much in during the years and is pretty much the epitome of what I think most training discussions should be. People having lots of fun with their dogs, training for the enjoyment, helping eachother troubleshoot and interesting discussions without the bash fest.
