No stitches

We took Tips to the vet yesterday to have his stitches removed from his neutering last week, and to our surprise, they were gone. He had an E-Collar after 5 hours on the first day, but managed to break it so much we just had to remove it 4 days later. I never saw him go to his stitches except an occasional lick, but I guess somehow they were gone. The wound is totally healed already, but I guess we were lucky...

Glad he's ok, thats funny that the stiches were gone, I guess Tips figures he knows better than the vets!

Happened with our cat too! I felt like such a bad owner not noticing but I had never seen her go near it.

I looked at it everyday, it did seem to me that the thread was gone after the second day, but there as no swelling or anything so I thought I had imagined it...
