A storm's blowing in, and, as expected, Middie hopped in bed with me. We have an agreed-upon "dog zone" - a big, soft, spring green blanket that all four paws have to be on for you to be allowed on the bed. (It cuts down on fur.)

Shivery, pathetic, SadDog kept inching closer until he managed to crawl in my lap, on top of the laptop. I held him for a while - missing out on BSG because I had another tab open when he landed there - and then my door inched open. . . revealing Roubaix and Cassie also wanting to cuddle. Cassie's an angel and knows her place on the bed, so she curled right up against my legs, but Bay is a little princess and took exception to Middie breaking the ruled, and tried to climb into my lap as well.
Hilarity ensued.
Now all three are snuggled up around my legs quietly. I had no idea my roommate's dogs were afraid of storms, too. I feel a bit bad for delighting in the wind and turmoil.
