My little rat is gone.:(

Yesterday afternoon I noticed her face was badly swollen, she could barely open her eyes. Her respiration was normal and but she was very lethargic. I made an appointment for this morning at 9 (first one available), but she didn't make it. When I woke up she was already across the bridge. She appears to have died in her sleep (I found her in the same position she sleeps in, not curled in a ball or anything).

I'm so sorry. People sometimes act like these smaller pets don't leave as much of an impact when they are gone, but it's not true. Lost my favorite rattie girl back in 2004 and I still miss her a lot to this day. I'm truly sorry for your loss.
