Getting new dog HELP CHOOSE!!

PLZ Explain why you chose it.

We are getting a new dog soon, and these are the 2 we are currently looking at. #2 isnt that great of a pic but its a common dog so you should all moslty know what it looks like.

Go to a golden rescue group first choice....Second, if you want a mix, go to the HMS.

I would prefer the regular Golden Retriever. Uumm, I'm not sure I can answer this but, I just like plain old Golden Retrievers. They seem to be very good dog's, but it is your choice.

I like the just plain old golden retrievers. I would definetely go through a rescue though.

I would go with a Golden because I don't believe in purposley breeding mixes when there are already so many in the shelters. Good luck with you venture.

I'll second the rescue notion.

If you want a purebred and want to buy a puppy, go check out the stickied thread on choosing a responsible breeder. Make sure the breeder you buy from meets the standards and isn't just another backyard breeder!

I would go w/ a Golden personally, b/c I love the breed. But the Golden is a very friendly and loving dog and one of the smarter dogs (which most of them are), and they are great family pets. Also for either one you get go to a rescue or a HMS.
