I wanted to post this up here.
This is from a couple of days ago, I've always felt like Australia wasn't as bad as some other countries as far as BSL goes, but over the past few years my opinions have changed as laws have tightened more and more in response to public pressure.
A week or two ago, a morning TV show panel carried on about the dangers of "pit bulls" in our communities after the death of a 4 year old boy.
Thankfully, due to public backlash they organised a team of really well respected people from the dog behaviour field to come on for an open forum and to get some hopefully, open minded discussion happening.
The hosting panel completely butchered it. It was revolting. I've gotta give a double thumbs up to everyone they invited on for being much more restrained, polite and courteous than the hosts.

This ust frightens me, these people have no idea. In fact, they are journalists that should be trying to take information from EXPERTS in a non biased fashion. But apparently doing their jobis too hard.
