Whoot!

Went to our first Barn Hunt since taking lessons and Michaela earned 2 legs toward her Novice title (including a second place ribbon out of 30 dogs). Whoot! Long day for her though, she's fast asleep now.

Thanks! She did so well, went right to work even though it was such a different environment from lessons. Need to work on tunnels and climbing though - she has no problem with either, except for doing it on command. With the rat hidden at ground level, she didn't see the point of climbing and I had wasted some time dithering about whether to leave the rat, remove it myself or hold Michaela for the rat wrangler. Wound up holding her, but the judge mentioned I had wasted about 15 seconds. Live and learn...
