I finally spoke to the animal behaviorist today!

He said Oakley is doing great :) And he is already impressed with how he is coming along, even though it has only been a week.

He is probably having so much fun...acres of land to run on, chickens, deer, other dogs to chase/play with...

he'll probably be sad when he comes home :(

For anyone who has NO clue what i am talking about...

read this thread :p http://www.chazhound.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10600

anyways, ill keep posting updates on this thread for anyone who cares to read them! :)

Well, that's good that he's showing improvement! I hope to be heading in that direction myself... and it's already started... not a whole lot-- but it has. :)

Hopefully we can both have a well-behaved, happy German shepherd!

Oh really? He looks like a pure bred black German shepherd. Yeah, I know how you feel...

But know that you're going to get a wonderful, more well-behaved Oakley back!

hehe, yeah, thats what i think too...but he is only about 35lbs...ive heard:

australian cattle dog
german shepherd
terrier
spitz ( i think that was the breed someone said )
chow
border collie
etc!

doesnt matter what he is :p he is my mutt, and i miss him!!

do you think he may be sad he wont have so much land to run around on, and as many fun things to explore when he gets back, as well as no more doggie friends around all the time?

He may be a little sad but he'll be EXTREMELY happy to see his original owner. :)
