I don't know if Brisbane is capable of being happy while wearing clothes. The two might be mutually exclusive. Sometimes he is only mildly perturbed when I put a coat on him though, those might be the times he is actually cold. It's just tough to tell when the temperature never really drops low enough for me to identify definite cold dog behavior so I know what to watch for.

I always keep a coat on Diego and Bailey when they're outside. If they get too hot I take it off but they both need all the joint warmth they can get. I put Gabby's on less frequently because she doesn't seem to need it with just regular cold. Hah.

I always take signs from him, not from the environment at all.
If he doesn't want to run/walk or is shivering, he gets something on him.

So far, it's never happened. We had a bootie situation because Boston puts down SO MUCH SALT on the sidewalks but otherwise...never a coat or anything.

Then again, he's a fluff monster.
