My poor girl is in a lot of pain from this stuff and we can't get it to heal. She had the stitches removed today and put on anti inflammatory
She has had a biopsy and thankfully, it is not cancer.
The problem is that the location makes it very hard to heal. We can't put ointments because she will lick it off. She is on pain meds, antibiotics and now, steroidal anti inflammatory. Her dr is waiting for a consultation with a specialists, but, in the mean time, nothing can be done. My question to all of you is this. Have you dealt with this or mouth cancer and know of a good way to stop the licking? It was the size of a dime and now has spread and going to the other side of her lip. One portion shows the tissue dying as well and the reason for the antibiotics. If I can't get her to stop licking and get to healing, they are going remove it and the quality of life after that will be horrible :'(
I'm so sick from this. This is our baby girl!!

I can't upload a pic, or I would
