Crypt question ?

Ok so Wednesday I had my male dog fixed, he was a crypt.The vet said I needed to keep cone on him,and him in the crate..I know he should not walk around but would it be safe to hold him for a bit, he is real agitated in his crate... :(

I have no idea what a crypt? Means regarding neutering but with most betters it would yes be safe to hold him as long as he's not running or jumping around he should be fine.

Cryptorchidism is when one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum.
He had one that failed to descend.

A cryptorchid neuter depending on the severity can essentially be just like a spay. It's not any "worse" really, it just means the healing time is longer than a typical neuter. He can be out of his crate and he can certainly walk around (how is he going to pee and poop if he doesn't?) but he just can't run, jump, or roughhouse. You can hold him. He'll be fine.

Yep. Also, if it was inguinal, vs abdominal, it really doesn't add much in the way of healing at all.
