I'm getting Enzo's ILP here soon, and I need some good name ideas for her registered name. Preferably ones that are related to racing cars, or the race track, etc. I want it to relate to her call name. I WAS going to go with CharlieDog's Does 185, like the Eagles song.. but the car in the song is a Maserati, not a Ferrari.

Ozzy, who was named after Ozzy Osbourne his name (when I get him registered) is going to be CharlieDog's Bat Outta Hell, sort of related to Ozzy, and also referencing a Meatloaf album by the same name. Anyway, long story short, I'm having trouble coming up with a good registered name for Enzo.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Please excuse possible lameness:

CD's Seeya in my Rearview Mirror (referencing another Meatloaf song)

CD's Watch my Tail lights

I don't know if I'm very good with this one, lol.

Well the main character in "The Art of Racing in the Rain" was a dog named Enzo - so you could use that: CD's Racing in the Rain.

Also:

CD's Fast n Furious
CD's Speed Demon
CD's Grand Prix

You might also get some ideas from a search of track names or races.

Okay, this is going to be lame, lol, fair warning.

CharliDog's Maximum Oversteer

Just reminds me of the typical lab, so over the top it's hard to keep them under control :lol-sign:

Another probably lame one (these are all words from autocross, not sure if that is the type of car racing you are looking for though)...

CharlieDog's Early Apex.

PW, I really like both of those! And I like the Grand Prix one Seeya one :p

Also, PW you hit the nail on the head with how Enzo is, lol

Enzo IS partially named after that book, lol, so that would be like a trifecta of references, lol. I was thinking Maserati and calling her Masi (SO NOT her) because all the dogs I've had their names have referenced Music or people who make music, and the song is an awesome song, but Enzo just fit better for her, and it is a really different name for a dog, I've never met one named Enzo before either.

I'm going to go look of famous race tracks, lol :p

Lol, well I don't really have any suggestions, but Gavroche is name after the character of the same name in Les Miserables, and his full registered name is Gavroche de la Rue, which means Gavroche from the street. It fits because Les Mis is French, Gavroche in the book/musical was a street urchin, and Gavroche was a strap :p

I didn't name Logan, but his full name is Moxie's Adamantium Man, which references Wolverine form X-men, whose name is also Logan ;) :p

Lots of good suggestions.

CD's I Can't Drive Fifty-Five

Just an FYI - you can't have numerals in the dog's name.

Can't Drive 55 was going to be my suggestion too, LOL. I'm trying to think if there's anything worthwhile in the lyrics of Life Is a Highway, but I can't think of anything that would fit...
