Puppy Mills

This is one of those subjects that drives me mad. I absolutley DETEST people that do this kind of thing to animals. The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA) is trying to shut them all down. So far, over 300 dogs have been rescued! I got my dogs from a farm, but I know that Sirius once tried to save a 5 year old bitch that had been bred since she was 1 twice a year! She died from complications though. (Sirius and I work together) So, any opinions on this subject?

I agree wholeheartly. Puppy Mills have got to be one of the biggest flies in my soup. The thought of them just cranks up my temper and the same goes to the supporters [Pet Stores]. Im sure everyone here already knows about the whole pet stores = bad stuff, but if anyone is just becomming a new dog owner, PLEASE, go to a Breeder or a Rescue for your new pet.

they breed the moms to death (literally) the puppies may be purbred, but the mom is, well, bred to death
