I did it!

So, I set out to learn how to make leather collars. After lusting at various carved collars, I promised myself I'd learn to make them before I could buy another.

Today, I finished my first! It's far from perfect, and every time I look at a different angle I see something wrong... But I worked really hard and I'm pretty proud of it.

That is one good looking collar. THat last pic, that's one for the wall. Love your dog.

What are the chances that I've just been obsessing over how to make my own decorated leather collar over the past couple weeks! Where did you learn how to make this? It is gorgeous. I would be SO GRATEFUL if you could... show me the magical ways (or the magical links).

I've been working on the design for this for a while and... today it came together. It's a latigo leather french martingale and I'm really thrilled with how it turned out.
