The dog is owned by one of the employees at aCamp in Galapagos. She's wondering what her dog could possibily be. I have few guesses, but-What breeds do you see?

I definitely see Whippet.

The dog is about up to my thighs(I'm 4'11),so not a huge dog

This is a 'border whippet', a whippet border collie mix, pretty close match.

Good lord, I thought that border whippet was Gusto for a split second.

I would guess the dog originally being discussed is more than half whippet. It is super cute!

Just throwing this out there- Judging from the OP's description (being 4'11" and the dog coming up to her thigh), I'm guessing the dog in question is roughly 22-23 inches tall.

Yes, that's around the height of the dog.
