These tests are relatively uncommon so I thought some might like to see what the results page looks like. This is a test that is required by the ASCA for all dogs used for breeding in order to register the litter. It is mandatory as a means to try and keep the stud book as accurate as possible.
This test proves, with blood samples from all three dogs, that Lark is the offspring of the two dogs who are listed as her Sire and Dam on her registration papers.

The AKC has that option through DNA profiling (and all three of mine have been, for curiosity sake as well as it being required for their CHIC), but I've always loved that about ASCA. The problem with AKC is that well... only one of my dog's also has a parent in the program so it's not very worthwhile in that regard.

I wonder if any other breeds have such a thing?

I've gotten a refund from one of those breed determining ones because it was so ridiculous.
