If we weren't getting our dang puppies on the SAME weekend, you could borrow one of our little ones, but I guess we'll be using both until Zip out grows them. :(

Also, Tim already said he's bringing a handful of ear plugs from work with him for the drive home from Florida. LOL

I have so many little plastic crates here, if you were going to pass through the Des Moines area I'd give you one. Alas... probably not worth it for you to drop down all the way to DSM for a crate!

Use the puppy socialization checklist!
Don't spoil her because she's adorable.
Take tons of pictures, constantly, she'll grow so fast!
Don't spoil her because she's adorable.
Don't let her get away with **** because she's adorable.
GO TO PUPPY KINDERGARTEN. Even if you're an awesome trainer, puppy kindergarten is still a good idea.

Basically don't do everything I did with Milo.

If I can find it and haven't lent it to someone else and forgotten, I should still have Squash's first puppy crate (the one he outgrew in like a week :p)... he was about 20# when he fit into it, is that too big?

Lauren, are you coming through Chicago? I have a little carrier that Keeva was shipped in (it's at my mom's house, I think). It's pretty small but I think it would be good for a JRT puppy. You're more than welcome to it!

Breath, it will work out :)

As for the crate training, she is pretty good, quiet in the house and when riding in the car in the crate. Here she hasn't been much of a barker or whiner, hopefully that transfers to your place :)

AHHH puppy breath, it's been a few years since I smelled that :(. I just get a face full of dog breath now lol.

Leashes, a crate (if you are going to use one) an old sheet to the car/your lap for the ride home in case she gets sick lol. Oh & a good food, but you prolly all ready have that covered :)

What kind of breed is she?

I bought a crate today, lol. But I'm not bummed because it's pretty and I've been coveting it for months at work.

Cause it's pretty...

I figure that will hold us for a while, anyway :)
