From an agility judge that I know on FB.

"As of July 1, 2014. CKC has opened the Companion Classes ( Agility, Obedience and Rally) to Mixed Breed dogs (All Canadian) and non recognised Purebred dogs. In order to play in CKC agility you need to apply for a Canine Companion number. The forms will be on line in the next week or so. All dogs need to be microchipped ( a safety thing in my books anyway) and All Canadians need to be neutered or spayed. Non recognised purebreds do not need to be spayed or neutered."
About **** time!

I will have to look into it for Kris, my Doberman. She is a purebred but when I got her I was just interested in Rally or Agility so never even asked about papers. She is doing really well in Obedience so it got me thinking about CKC Obedience.
