So for funsies

Sept 24 Hank weighed in around 15 1/2 lbs

Oct 25 hank weighed in at 19 1/2 lbs.

We know he's over 6 months because of teeth. He has all his adult teeth. My trainer thought his growth plates were closed but now Im curious. Same scale and it could obviously vary some but the paps get weighed on it and keep pretty darn constant.

So how old and what full adult weight would you expect?

Hmmm so hard to say.

With Jackson, I know totally different type of dog, but he surprised me with how much he grew between 1 1/2 - 2. And wasn't fat. I think mostly muscle and just growing into himself.

He was a solid 12lbs for a while. I would say 6 months old to about a year. Then all the sudden I took him to the vet, I would say a little over a year... and he weighed 16lbs. I thought the scale HAD to be wrong. But we tried multiple scales etc. By 2 years old, he almost always weighed closer to 18lbs whenever he was weighed. I think it was around 17.8lbs usually. So he kind of varies depending on food and exercise and time of year between 17 and 18lbs now at 6yrs old.

Maybe Hank is a little under a year?

I'm gonna say 7 or so months old, that's a lot of weight to be gaining in such a small dog.
