%@* Dogs got me in trouble in Math

Ok in math today we were doing algebra (which i'm good at) and one of the equations equaled 20bc. I immedialitly thought 20 border collies

Can you see how this is going?

Of course he asks me the answer to this particular question ....

And I said " 20 Border Collies" :rofl1::rofl1:

So I had to stay behind after class and get a lecture on paying attention.

Sheesh!! What a sour temperament on that instructor.

Being punitive in that situation didn't teach you or the rest of the class anything!! Although attention may have been a temporary issue ... after hearing "20 Border Collies" no one in the class will EVER forget the answer to that equation! That could have led to a productive discussion of memory devices often helpful to students in remembering formulas ... because it's a proven fact that the stranger the image, the better it's remembered.

He keeps people behind for the smallest reasons so it wasn't a surprise but he did also congragulate me on my result on yesterdays teat so it's not ALL bad
