The bane of my doggone existence...

I've had one lodged in my middle finger on my left hand for over a week now. The thing looks hideous. I'm probably going to have to go to the doctor. Nothing I've tried has worked - glue, epsom salt, duct tape, tweezers, needles, peroxide, its just STUCK and its grody.

So, groomers, hairstylists, those are all of MY tried and true ways of removing them, what are yours?

PS
I'd post pictures but I don't want to make anyone puke.

Fucidin (sp?) cream. Works like a charm for the infected hairs that are swollen in! It doesn't remove the splinter but it does get the infection out and then the splinter will come out easily! I hate hair splinters!
