Salmon Oil?...

For years now, I've been giving Caleb 1,000mg of Salmon Oil daily (and 4oo I/Us of Vitamin E once a week). I just ran out of this morning, and the only Salmon Oil we could find is 2,000 mg. I should be OK giving it every other day instead of every day, right? For the heck of it I did a Google search and the suggested dosage for a 70 pound dog is 1,500 mg/daily.

Limit is 45 lbs and gets one every other day...but we've only been doing that for 4ish months.

If it helps any Merlin's is in a pump-bottle and I've never paid attention to how much he gets
Once I was holding it upside down and the top fell off and a bunch poured and and other than really fishy breath for a bit it was fine LOL

We use Seapet (with Vit. E already in it) and Cali (88lbs) gets 2 tbsp daily.
