Oh the word of trying to work with my two dogs at the same time.
Usually Duncan does a down-stay while I work with Cameron (this is pretty new and has been going well and I feel like there's been a decline in food related conflicts because of it) but today Cameron figured out that Duncan won't stop her she jogs over and gobbles his treat before he does.
So what do I do?
I don't have a ton of space to work with but I can increase the distance between them so that it takes her longer to get there and buys me time. Should I click and treat if she watches him take it without moving towards him? Or click treat for staying focused on me? Or should I not click because I've been training and clicking to shape something else? Should I end the session if she steals?
Haha, sorry for my noob questions.
In the end I want dog harmony over anything.
