Is there any such thing?

I give so much advice at the salon about what to feed to get rid of the nasty flaky skin I see on the daily I'd like to have something to back myself up with. Are there courses for this? I know anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, but I don't want to just CALL myself that without doing something to earn it. Has anyone here done a course? If so, where?

One of our members is a certified Dog Nutritionist. I've copied her info her for you. She has a website and you could send her a message on her website about getting educated in canine nutrition. http://www.betterdogcare.com/?page=about

A certified animal nutritionist is a vet (DVM) who is also certified by the American College of Veterinary Nutrition.

Auggie's breeder's husband has his MS in Animal Nutrition. I don't remember what his BS was in. Some kind of animal science.

Mordy's website says she has her certificate in "animal care" from a college in Ontario, not that she's a certified dog nutritionist. She also calls herself a nutrition consultant - probably because calling herself a certified nutritionist would get her in trouble with the ACVN.
Here's the college she went to:

A quick google shows they do quite a bit of online coursework, so you might be able to get involved in the same program she did online.
