Dog has a cut from a dog bite on the side of mouth..wont stop licking...

Hi, don't know what to do. My dog got a cut on the side of the mouth, at first he was ok, and the wound seem to scab up. Today i notice it is bleeding again because he would lick his paws then scratch the wound. So then i put the cone of shame on him and because the wound is on the side of his mouth, the cone is not helping and he keeps licking it. Please help, don't know how to stop him from licking it....
