Hmmm... apparently they don't know what the word "champion" really means?

I have (2) champion Siberian Huskies up for adoption.
They are from champion line, NO PAPERS.
Both males, Bandit and Gambit.
Siberian Husky Champion males.
They are about 8 months.
One Black/White, one Golden Brown/ White.
$100 adoption fee.
All shots and deworming have been done.
I have family on property.
Only to good, positive, energetic and loving home.
NO Apartments!
Contact me for more info., pics or to come and visit.

It could mean that the owner is protecting their lines from puppy mills. Bunchers acquire free or cheap dogs with AKC papers and then resell the dogs to puppy mills. If the animal is altered, they dump it or kill it and just sell the papers to the puppy mills. Papers for an AKC champion can bring premium price, more than an actual dog with a crap pedigree.

My mom once refered to our Sheltie as a "champion show dog" to a landlord who didn't want pets. He was fine with our "champion" living in his house.

I hope that some one gives these little guys a proper home. They sound lovely.

I thought of that, too. But I think the ad would have been worded different. This ad sounds like it was written by "Joe Q Public", so my take on it is they are "champions" because there are champions in their background (ad even says from Champion lines).

I agree. I have seen many ads that use champion in the ad title just to draw attention to the ad when all it really means is there may be champions in the pedigree.

Of course, the owner may simply have misplaced the papers or never got them from the breeder. *shrugs*

Thank you.
If you read the above line in bold it seems to me that this is a back yard breeder if the "I have family on property" means the parents.

Obviously they're champions because they come from champion lines. Don't you know that ALL offspring from a champion are automatically champions????
