I'm just brainstorming names and wondered if any of you clever chazzers could help?!

PotentialPuppy will most likely be a Rat Terrier--if things go as planned, should be conceived this month! Eek!- male or female / leaning towards male but I wouldn't turn down a pup that was a good fit & female.

We want something that goes with or sounds good with Crossbone (but not Skull....). Not looking for cutesy or super gender specific. We are more Black Plague people vs glitter and rainbows, if ya know what I mean. ;) and obscure vs normal.

Brainstorming call name & registered name that go well together.

These are a random list of random thoughts and ideas but we are not limited to this list...

Pox (number 1 at this point-small pox, Black Plague, rat bite fever, etc)
Pestilence Rat
Pox appeal
Plague Rat
Darkly Dreaming

Hypoxia (as call name with a cool reg name?)

Flare or Flair

Frostbite

Hops (we LOVE hoppy beer)

Lluks (Skull backwards?) :p

Flea / Flee

HALP?!

Roger. As in the Jolly Roger.

Hazmat. Hazord. Hazardous (for a girl - like...hazer-dess, making it feminine?!).

That's all I got.

(Totally love Pox!)

I knew I could count on you! :p

Morbid is good...but it also has to be PG to a degree-- the dog(s) do come to work once in a while ;)

Blackrose---Ooo! I do like Hazmat! & Jolly Roger --how did I not think of that?

Danger? There is a character in the Dark Hunter (Sherrilyn Kenyon) books called Danger.

I think Rigor, Pox, and Hazmat are cool.

How about "Lux?" So it's a reference but not quite so obvious?

Rigor Mortis is a good one, it could just be call name "Rig" too. Which is like also totally a pirate (ship) reference.

Buccaneer -- Call name Buck? Buc?

It's on my list of pirate themed names but I'll likely never use it.

I love Pox!
The name theme reminded me of my first dog, a min pin named Captain Sharkbait (we called him Sharkbait or Sharky).

I totally love Hops. If you don't name it Hops, I might steal it.

Rigor is an aweome name too- for work, where that would probably be frowned up(?) you could just call him Rig! I love both and they both have meaning! MEANING.

Is it bad that I am about to ask for pictures of unconceived puppies already?

Do you have pictures of mom/dad? :D

My vote is for Pox! Cool name for a rat terrier.

And Rigby chimes a vote in for Rig....just 'cause
