Ripley used to be afraid of Dachshunds. He'd do like a 30ft radius around them and watch them out of the corner of his eye, ready to run away at any moment haha. I have no idea why. I don't recall him ever having a bad experience with them.
Other than that, none of my dogs are afraid of other dogs/certain breeds at all. However, they dislike terriers for the most part and Boxers and certain Labs, Goldens and Flat-Coats of the very "in your face, OMG I just met you but I love you so much, grovel at your feet" personalities. Probably all dogs of that personality, but those three retrievers seem to be the biggest culprits around here.
My dogs all tend to get along best with herding breeds, probably because most of the herders we encounter are more reserved in personality and usually focused on their person or toy and thus indifferent to surrounding dogs.
