Hi, we have a toy poodle named Dominick. He is 5 months old. We got him when he was 8 weeks, I just actually noticed the other day that his testicles did not drop. It looks like he doesn't have any at all, he was not neutered either. We want to take him to vet to fix the problem but we want to know if we can hold the breeder responsible for cost. We were never informed of the problem with his testicles.

Thanks

Ray

Poodles have a lot of fur down there and the testicles of a 5 month old puppy are pretty darn small. When we got our dog he was 5 months old and I couldn't see his testicles at all. I actually initially thought he was neutered until the shelter told me otherwise. His testicles descended about a month and a half later : )

Maybe, maybe not. It can't hurt to contact them (politely) and see.

My older Border Collie only had one testicle down so it did cost more to neuter him but I did not go back to the breeder with it.
