What has your dog destroyed in your house?

Let's see....let me think back to those wonderful days of teething....thank god that's over!

-chewed off the patch of my fav. wrangler jeans
-dug or chewed a corner of the mattress
-dug up a run of carpet and ate some of it, yeah that was nasty
-chewed on the window sill and door frame, had an affinity for wood
-chewed on some video cassetes and their cover, thank god for dvd's now!
-of course toys
-couch cushion

Your slippers are perfectly fine. One's in the yard and the other's under the couch. And both are in perfect condition.

Oh yeah, I forgot Gunner's fascination with toilet paper and chapstick. Sounds like I'm not the only one who is lost pairs of shoes during teething. For now I just buy cheap ones. Sadly, nothing over $5 goes on these feet for now until Gunner grows up. lol

my water hose to the swamp cooler (made her own personal shower)

my wrought iron chairs in the kitchen (she just gets a jaw ache from that one)

and anything else in between and this is stuff she has to climb to reach

Well let's see:

-Several shoes
-Door frames
-Some tile- but we were going to put carpet over it anyway.
-The couch has several bite wounds.
-My bed has suffered some damage.
-Anything cardboard or paper-like

LOL i think i'm going to show my husband this thread... it might make him feel better. It is nice to know that Penny is not the only one doing some damage here

A cordless phone - base and handset
three television remotes, the DVD remote and the remote to the home theatre system is still MIA

There were a couple of other things I can't remember right now. Thankfully, Kharma outgrew chewing in a hurry. I think Bimmer had something to do with that, lol!

Purdue, my first GSD, cut his teeth on the leg of the solid walnut dining room table. I've got that table now and wouldn't sand out those teeth marks for anything!

Lol mind you this all happened during puppyhood.

Yukon got into a tube of crest toothpaste last night. First time ever that he did that, never before and the kids left it on the toilet lid so it was easy for him to get. I just giggled at his foamy lips and took him out side. No need to get excited there. Now I can go back to my toothpaste, did not need to use the rest of the crest. Now if I had knowen he would eat it I would have left it out much earlier.

We have two baby gates , when we go somewhere she has to stay in the kitchen. She did it when she was younger. But very rarely will sometimes still add to it. We had my Smokey who was crated and would cry and we think she was doing it because she felt bad for him She does have some seperation anxiety issues as well. That picture just shows the worst, we have scrapes like that all over the bottom of the kitchen cabinets.

The only thing I have lost with my goldens were my kids sandals when they were little.. they had sandals made with a sponge type material.. and my one golden loved them when he was a pup.. other than that.. that's it.. maybe the odd food bowl got used as a teething ring... but that's it.
