Animal planet said I should 100% get a Brittany, also 98% on FCR, GSP, Irish Setter and PBGV. Ummm, I think Irish Setters are very pretty but none of those appeal to me in the least for a pet.
Dogtime suggested Kuvasz, Curly Coated Retriever, FCR, GSP and ESS. Kuvasz is too big, too much fur and I don't like retrievers, spaniels or pointers.
SelectSmart's top 5 for me was ACD (No), Bluetick Coonhound (Ok I like the look of hounds but would go for a black and tan myself) Mini Bull Terrier (oh yes please!), GSP (again, really? NO) and Pointer, still no. #6 was Amstaff but then the list ran into tons of dogs I'm not interested in, Frenchies, Belgian Sheepdog, Setters etc.
So I guess the last one was the closest, they had a couple in the top 10 I would consider owning but usually I find these are super wrong.
